Joint statement from Stand By Your Saints and The Saints City Trust regarding the 2019/2020 price increases at St Albans City Football Club.
Stand By Your Saints and the Saints City Trust wish to make it clear that we strongly oppose the new ticket pricing structure, believing that it will have a detrimental effect on both fans and match day revenue.
The results of this season’s Predictions League, following the Champions League Final, are now in. The final positions were not decided until the very last game with Liverpool’s win over Tottenham gaining Tom McLeod the top prize over Peter Knock on countback, by virtue of having more 4 point winners.
The winners are as follows and cheques are in the post:
1. Tom McLeod 37 points £100.
2. Peter Knock 37 points £25.
3. Ken Harding 35 points £10.

Here are the updated positions at the penultimate stage of the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 29 April. With just the F.A.Cup, the F.A.Trophy and the Champions League results to be accounted for, Peter Knock moves into top spot closely followed by Tom McLeod in 2nd and Aussie, Frank Godman who is up 6 places to 3rd. Other big climbers, this time around, are Bill Knock, Ann Evelyn and Karina Hames with Duncan McLeod, Richard Palmer and Vernon Hames all going in the opposite direction. Not long to go……………

The 2018/19 St. Albans City F.C. End of Season Awards were presented after the final Vanarama National League South home game of the season against Torquay United on Saturday 28 April 2019. The recipients were as follows -

Here are the updated positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 8 April. As we go into the home straight, things appear to be levelling out but there are still some significant risers and fallers. Out in front are Richard Funnell and Tom McLeod on 36 points.with Alan Brittain dropping to 3rd. Gavin Shorey leaps 26 places from 50th to 28th, Davy McLean rebounds back 13 places, David Northcott is up 12 and Ken Harding moves up menacingly from 11th to 4th spot. Going the other way are Tim Pheby (-22), James Knock (-21) and Sue Rogers (-21).
Here are the updated positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 3 March. We are now at the business end and anyone selecting Real Madrid or PSG for the Champions League may possibly have seen their chances of winning going up in smoke with the results in the Round of 16. Alan Brittain climbs 12 places into top spot, closely followed one of our Aussie fans, Frank Godman. Biggest risers this time around are Nick Scott (+31), Roger Aggett (+27), Haydn Wigg (+22) and Dave Church (+21).
