At the conclusion of the End Of Season Awards ceremony on 28 April following the final home game of the season against Dartford, a cheque presentation was made by Ian Rogers, the Saints City Trust chairman, to Lawrence Levy, co -owner of St. Albans City F.C. for £4,000.00. This was in respect of monies raised via various fundraising activities carried by volunteers on match days throughout the season. The monies will go towards the pitch reinstatement to be carried out during the off season.
The final positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 31 May, sees a huge turnaround since the April 2016 update. With the lowest winning points total ever but also with one of the tightest finishes ever, Duncan McLeod lifts the winning prize. Again, as with last year's competition, the F.A. Cup and Champions League made a big difference to the final outcome. Duncan McLeod moves up 8 places to top spot and Richard Palmer (up 22 places), John Sylvester (up 15 places) and John Sanderson (up 13 places) all made significant late challenges but just a little too late.
