Saints City Trust General Knowledge Quiz - 22 February 2019

This year's General Knowledge Quiz took place in the Saints Bar on Friday 22 February and finished with only 1 point separating 1st and 2nd places.  The quiz was set and run on the night by Greg Needoff and Simon Edwards and attracted a superb turnout of 12 teams and 70 people, including a team representing Bath City, The Bath City Exiles, who all live locally in the St. Albans area.  All in all, it was a tremendous evening.

 

The final positions were as follows -

  3.   The Mermaids On Tour  138

2018/19 Saints City Trust Prediction League - 21 January 2019

Here are the updated positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 21 January. It remains very close with 9 people on 30 points or more. Some big movers this time around with Davy McLean up a staggering 48 places into 4th spot. Patrick Knock (+26) and Alan Turner (+24) also make significant moves. The biggest fallers this time around are Mick Holland, Dave Church and Simon Edwards. The results of the cup competitions are looking likely to be a major factor in the final outcome……………….........

The updated positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 3 December, see some substantial changes. Ryan Mann moves back to the top, while Elise Page (+37), John Jones (+27) and Ken Budd (+23) are the major risers this time around. Going the other way are Pat Roache, Tom Norman and Richard Palmer. Still a long way to go …………..............

The updated positions in the Saints City Trust Prediction League, as at 5 November, see Willie Wilson rise 17 places to top spot, just ahead of the chasing pack. Sam Wittich and Frank Godman also make significant gains but Tony Wittich, Ken Budd and Iona Hilliard are the biggest fallers. All to play for …………..............

Here is the first update on the 2018/19 Saints City Trust Prediction League at 1 October 2018, which shows Richard Funnell, Ryan Mann and Tom McLeod in a share for the lead on 40 points.  The end is a long way off, though and this will be marathon, not a sprint.  Good luck everyone......................
